Hi [name],
Thank you for the time today — it was genuinely useful to walk through the integrity pipeline with someone who's seen both the political and the operational side of contamination cost. The Bin Session demo isn't the headline pitch but it tends to be the thing that makes the four-layer model feel real, so I'm glad we were able to show it.
What I think we agreed:
What we need by [date+7]: confirmation of the named information-governance contact, and (if possible) a 30-minute slot in the next two weeks with [next-step-name] in the room.
Attached: the deck, whitepaper, and the pre-meeting brief in case it's useful to share. All three are also linked from binlyrecyclingcom.netlify.app. If anything in the demo prompted questions you didn't get to in the room, please send them across — I'd rather answer in writing than have them sit unanswered.
Thank you again, and please pass on my thanks to anyone in the room I haven't already emailed directly.
Best,
Mathaius

Hi [name],
Thank you for making time today. The questions you raised about [topic — e.g. equity / non-digital households / data protection / Veolia operational impact] are exactly the right ones to be pressing on at this stage, and I'd rather hear them now than in month two of a pilot.
To respond to the open thread on [topic]: [1–2 sentences addressing it directly. Cite the whitepaper section.] The full position is in §[X] of the whitepaper attached.
I don't want to push for a commitment before the council has had time to consider it. What I'd ask instead is: can we agree a date by which Birmingham will give Binly a yes/no/not-yet on issuing a Letter of Intent? A "not yet, come back after X" is genuinely useful — it lets me sequence the Innovate UK timeline and the angel conversation accordingly.
Attached: the deck, whitepaper, and the pre-meeting brief. Also linked from binlyrecyclingcom.netlify.app. Happy to come back in person or join a call with anyone you'd like to brief — I'm Birmingham-based and free at short notice.
Thank you again.
Best,

Hi [name],
Thank you for the time and for being straightforward about the timing. It would have been more useful for me at this point to know what the council needed in order to say yes, but I appreciate that the answer is genuinely "not in this cycle" and not "no in principle".
What I'd like to do is two things:
If at any point the council changes view, or there's another ward / timing that would work, I'd genuinely rather pilot in Birmingham than anywhere else — for reasons I think you understand. So: door open, no expectation, my email is always answered.
Thank you again, and please pass my thanks to the others in the room.
Best,
Mathaius
